It's been a while since I talk about cafes. The past few months I didn't really explore cafes...but now semester is done, I could finally catch up with friends and eat! In this post, I will show you 4 cafes that I tried recently in Brisbane. Stay tuned for recommend Instagram-friendly place in the next post!

1// Miss Jones
Miss Jones is a relatively new cafe in New Farm. The design is absolutely cute and girly, very Instagram-able. We ordered Kewpie Chicken Burger and Egg Benedict on waffles, but the avocado toast came accidentally and we didn't realise and ate it lol. But the friendly staff didn't charge us extra, so end up two of us shared three dishes.

2// Manly Kitchen
My friend recommended this place in Manly, so we drove around 20 minutes east from Brisbane city. Manly is a really chill, slow suburb where most customers in the cafe are senior or mums. The sea breeze is perfect to cool us down in a hot day. We ordered a mix of sweet and savoury food

(Middle) Big Brekkie (AU$22)
(Bottom) Buttermilk pancake (AU$17.5)

3// Iconic Cafe
If you are looking for a quiet corner in the CBD, Iconic Cafe is a good choice! Located in George street, the cafe served quick brekkie food and mix-Asian dish. We ordered a breakfast burger and Green Tea Chicken noodle. The noodle is sort of a sober noodle with spiced chicken, which make the dish really refreshing.

4// Cafe 63
Cafe 63 is a big cafe which has many location around Brisbane. I went to the one locate in New Farm the other day, because I was attracted by the flowers and BW design. The food was ok, not surprisingly good. But consider it's price and kids-friendly, it's worth to check it out if you have kids. It is right opposite New Farm Park, so you can also walk around and chill in the park after brunch.
