Hello internet! It's been a while since I update, and semester is going to an end (one more week to go!), but school works are still killing me...to take a break from works, let's talk about life and food, as usual. I just had a presentation and a press conference yesterday, and it's totally a relief after all these project were done! And I just started a internship in GoCausal,  a WA based job seeking startup. I like how they let me work at home and very flexible and open up for suggestion. Definitely need more time to learn and self-taught, which I really love to!

Alright, enough life updates, time to move on to my main sharing - FOOD! This semester I did spend a lot of time (and money) on cafes, well, that's how I social and catch up with friends.

1// Morning After
They have lovely interior design with the green and white theme. It was too hot to try their coffee, but my coffee lover friend told me, their coffee is really good.

Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon (AU$17)

2// The Jam Pantry
I think most people in Brisbane heard about this cafe. The cafe was pack on that Saturday and we need to wait about 10 minutes. They have seasonal/ monthly menu, just check with the staff.

3// Melt Brothers
So this is not the typical cafe, but since I saw their photo on Instagram, I have to try it. Melt Brothers is recommended in multiple foodie blog/websites, with their cheesy hot toastie. And as they locate in CBD, it is so convenient for working people to grab their breakfast or lunch. It's a little pricey for sandwich as you can probably buy the ingredients and make at home LOL.

M.C. Cheesy - macaroni & bacon (AU$12.5)

Morning Glory - egg & bacon (AU$8.5)

4// The Yiro Shop
Craving for Greek food? There are fast and delicious yiros just around the corner in CBD and Southbank. I tried Greek food back in Melbourne, since then I really wanna eat yiros again. But, it was not as good as the Melbourne one...

Chicken Yiro with chips (AU$11.8)
My photo was featured in their Instagram!

5// Corner Stone Cafe
This cafe is 10 minutes walk away from my church, so me and my friends checked it out fews weeks ago after church. Since there's not a lot of cafes in Toowong and many students stay in Toowong, I think they are pretty neighbourhood friendly, despite the flies.

Smashed Avocado 2 Ways (AU$18.5)

Corner Store Cafe

6// Kith 'n' Chow
The other day, my friend brought me to this cafe that known with their massive breakfast set for 2. We didn't really look at the menu because we only wanna try the platter breakfast. It is super filling and we can't finish all the bread, but it was such a satisfying meal. The cafe is 15 minutes walk from Griffith Uni Station, bearable, don't take bus.

Kith 'n' Chow Platter for 2 (AU$30)

7// The Roastery Cafe
Last but not least, Roastery Cafe in Southbank, that I tried last weekend. It is a really chill place as we sat outside, with some greenery decoration. They have both all day breakfast and lunch menu, and the staff there were really friendly.

Classic Egg Benedict with Salmon (AU$18.9)
Hash brown with Salmon (AU$19)
