Hello December, time have been flew really fast and as my gpa of this sem is out, it's time to say bye to my freshman year and do a reflection. So I decided to do this video which just show my reflection in a more creative way and I hope it will inspire someone or give some tips to the new freshman.

#1 Work Out
//
I found it's hard to eat regularly and healthy when you live alone. With all those uni work and control of what to eat, it's important to start your workout routine to keep your shape and stay healthy. I usually run twice a week, I prefer running instead of intensive workout (I fail to concentrate). I like the feeling of sweating, it's not just about loosing weight but refresh my mind and body.

#2 Cook
//
This is the first time I lived alone for more than 8 months overseas. Cooking is a new thing to me cause I never cook at home. But luckily I found that I am not that worse at cooking I guess, I tried to cook soups, steam fishes and being creative to all ingredients. Chinese dishes are all about trying and feeling. No exact recipe is found, just keep trying and ask your mum, grandma. They are always expert on that.

#3 Grocery
//
I'm not sure about other countries, but in Australia, always keep your eye on sales in Coles and Woolies. For Coles, they change sales on every Wednesday and Woolies is on Monday. I usually buy what's on sale, 20%, 25% or 50% off. It's not worth to spend food when they are full price in my opinion. Even they are price down, doesn't mean they are not good. Also, apply their membership card to collect point. It will rewards if you reach to certain point.

#4 Not Fluent In English Is OK
//
I am not worst in English but I am never fluent on it. There's a time when I am quite concern my accent which hinder me to speak more. It's important to speak more and be confident because there're more people worser than you. It's ok to say bad english because the locals, they don't f**king care.

#5 Being Alone is OK
//
I am very used to being with people, friends, family, classmates. But thing changes in uni, it's all about independent. You don't have a fixed regular same schedule with your friends. Your classmates are always changing. But it's totally fine. It's ok to study alone, having lunch alone. Everyone go through that. It's not high school anymore...which brings us to #6

#6 Find Some TRUE Friends
//
Because we are not in high school anymore, we're not surrounded by a bunch of similar people or people you know. so it's time to find a/some true friends. Those you can trust, you can talk with, you can spend time with. Those can understand you and be with you and never leave you alone when you are down.

#7 High School Friends Are The Best
//
A squad of besties/ BFFs are not easy to find. Luckily I met them in high school, they are always my first priority. They are the one you truly trust and treasure. You won't find wasting time when you are with them. You understand each other and know very well with each other. You can do everything for them and do anything with them.

#8 Family Is Always Your Back Up
//
If friendship may fade, family never. Since I am not home at most of the time, I finally realised how much my family mean to to me and how supportive my parents are. I never talk about my deep feeling with my family, but once they call me when I am down, my heart feels warm and recharge. No matter how scary, dark the world is, home is always the place I belong.

#9 Write Down Everything
//
I write dairy, (not daily but I am trying my best) I blog, I vlog. I just wanna record everything happened in my life. In the past, people wrote books, journals, diary to record their life and it became history we learn today. Now in 2015, when we have all these platforms, I believe we should make use of them and record things in your own creative way. We are the one who make our own history.

#10 Find Your Passion
//
I'm a communication student. Maybe what I learnt in lectures and textbooks are not the things I like, but the bachelor is only a ticket or a preparation to my career. I like the feeling of creating and editing. Video, blog post, photo, painting, Photoshopping, or even just choosing a filter on Instragram, that's what I passion about. I'm still searching. Still Learning. I maybe working in advertising, design, magazine/video editor, social media. So many uncertainty but I know what I want and what I'm doing. The rest just leave it to God.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.
