Tassie is cool, but really cold! Back in September, I went to Tasmania with my friends for a week. It was a life-changing trip, as there so many bucket list checked. If you wanna know more what I did and places I went, keep on reading!

DAY ONE
We arrived on a Saturday morning, and right after we put down our stuff in the hostel, we went to check out Salamaca Market, which is walking distance from the city. This market is really well-known, one of the biggest market in Australia. There are food, art crafts, bakery, skin care products...we spent almost 2 hours walking around the market. Even it was raining and cold, there're still a lot of people. The market only opens on Saturday, so if you wanna visit the market, make sure you plan a Saturday in Hobart.

DAY TWO
We slept pretty early on the first night because today we need to catch the tour at 7:30am. After a 2 hours drive towards the west coast, we arrive Mount Field and Fanklin-Gordan Wild River National Park to hike around and see the waterfalls.
DAY THREE
We continue our journey in the west coast in Strahan. We hop-on to a cruise which bring us around Gordon River and Sarah Island. Sarah Island was a former British penal settlement, that isolate convict and avoid them to escape. The whole cruise tour is around 5 hours, include lunch and island guide. After that, our tour guide brought us to a random beach near Strahan. It was so amazing to see tons of bubble on the beach (even though it's toxic).
At that night, we went out at 8pm to see the stars. We are so lucky and able to see the milky way and tons of stars, just on the street.
DAY FOUR
Today is the highlight of the trip - Cradle Mountain! We spent 3+ hours to walk around Dove Lake. The weather wasn't that clear and good at the beginning, but we finally able to see the whole snow mountain at the end. I think the weather was perfect for hiking, not too sunny, little bit of rain, and still able to see some snow on the ground! And really vibrant rainbow when the rain drizzle.
DAY FIVE
We stopped in Launceston the night before, and this morning we visited Cataract Gorge. It is a popular hike place because it really close to the city. The scenery was amazing and we can even see peacock walking around.
Then we drove towards east, to visit Bay of Fires and have lunch over there. The rock there are bright orange, and the people thought it's on fire, that's why it's called Bay of Fires.
We then went to see Tassie animals in East Coast Natureworld. We got to see Tassie Devils, Wombat, birds and of course, kangaroo.
At night, we decided to catch the aurora, since the index was quite high. We went to a cliff, facing the south, which was able to see a bit of aurora. The camera did catch the greenish light behind the mountain. It wasn't perfect, but it's so cool to able to see aurora in person!
DAY SIX
Last day in the east coast, we visited Wineglass Bay. There're two route - beginner and challenging, most of the guys took the hard way and the girls walked the easy one. It was about a 45 minutes walk to the lookout. If you took the challenging one, will take 3 hours to return, but you'll get a better view. Since we finish much earlier than the others, we also visit Honeymoon Bay, which is a really cute curved bay. We then had lunch there, and met up the others to head back to Hobart.
DAY SEVEN
The last full day in Tassie is a trip to Port Arthur. Port Arthur is a former penal settlement, and is now a open historical museum. The whole area felt like Europe. I can't imagine it was a prison in the past...The ticket includes a 20 minutes boat ride and free guide. I recommend not to follow the guide, just walk around by yourself is much time-saving and fun.
The last night we had dinner in Hobart city. This dessert place was crowded and look really nice!

The next day we had a early flight back to Brisbane and that wraps up our Tassie trip. It was definitely a life-changing trip! Tasmania is really gorgeous, definitely wanna return to visit places that I missed out this time. If you don't drive, highly recommend to join a local tour, 5-6 days tour that bring you around the island. Flexibility is much lower, but at least someone drive for you and plan for you, if you're too lazy to plan and book everything haha.

Happy November! Can't believe that only 2 months left in 2017...and I haven't been updating since August because of lots of assignment and other commitment. But now semester is finished and I can back to creating content YEAH! For the new post after 2+ months, I decided to share things that I haven been loving in the past few months.

1// Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner
Let's begin with skin care. I need a new toner so bad, but never use an Aussie brand before. When I saw Sukin was having a discount in Coles, I did my research and decided to give it a try. It was really affordable (got it in $7.7) and I like how it is a mist, so I don't have to put the product on my hand which is so convenient. It smells really natural as it claims to be not artificial and no chemicals. They also got facial wash, body lotion...I think Sukin is a good choice if you wanna try Aussie skin care, since they are so cheap and everywhere.

As the title said, summer is over! I am more than happy to back to warm Queensland winter/spring. Anyways, I travelled to South Korea last month with my family for 8 days. I know, Korea again, but I still really enjoy going to new places in Jeju Island and Seoul, despite the heat. I will try link everything, official websites and Korean name, hope it's helpful.

DAY ONE
O'sulloc Museum (오설록티뮤지엄)
First place we visited after renting car. It is a green tea field, plus museum, plus Innisfree workshops. We tried the green tea cake, which is really good! (I found there's another O'selloc cafe in Seoul, at Dongdaemun, so don't worry if you are not in Jeju)
Camillia Hill (카멜리아힐)
After visiting the museum, we went to Camilla Hill, which is a flower garden with artsy decorations. Lots of couples came here to take photos (for the gram) and their selfie tools are epic! They brought a tripod and walked around in the garden, and it's really hot in Jeju (respect).
DAY TWO
Cheonjiyeon Waterfall (천지연폭포)
One word to describe day two: sweat. I sweat A LOT. We did a lot of hiking, exploring the nature of Jeju. The lake is in a beautiful blue. It was suppose to be a waterfall, but no water is falling...it seems like it's too hot and no rainfall recently.
Jeju 3D Trick Eye Museum
I wasn't really excited about going here, since I have been to 2 trick eye museum before. But when the heat came, I need to go in and enjoy some air con! We spend almost 2 hours here, take photos and tea time.
Then we head off to Lotte Outlet (not planned) and shopped some skincare products from Innisfree. For dinner, we randomly went into a abalone place and we had a seafood hotpot. YUM!
DAY THREE
Jeongbang Waterfall (정방폭포)
Day three was slightly less sweaty. We visited another waterfall, which directly running water to the ocean. Some kids even went in to the water to cool down. Walking on the rocks are pretty danger, don't forget to wear sneakers!
Food. We went to a really nice cafe called May飛 cafe (카페메이비) randomly. The boss was so nice, she knew we wanted filling food while the menu only shown light mea, she ended up provided a pizza option that was not shown on the menu to us. And she could speak English, which is a huge plus! We also ordered ham and cheese beagle, fries and some drinks.
Dinner, we actually researched and visited this place for lobster pizza. Lobster pizza I mean real lobster sitting on top of the pizza. It was really epic and photo-friendly.
DAY FOUR
Seongsan Ilchulbong (성산일출봉)
Last full day in Jeju Island, we hiked up Seongsan Ilchulbong, also called 'Sunrise Peak'. It is a signature scenery in Jeju and formed by volcanic eruption thousands years ago. We can see the beautiful Jeju Island on top.
After the hike, we went to eat Issac Toast, which is right outside the entrance of Seongsan Ilchulbong. I tried their toast last time in Seoul and finally got to try it again! It's not a ordinary toast, but honey coated and sweet!
Later that night, we drove back to the city area and did a little shopping in Dongmum market. We also went to Black Pork Street, which really near our hotel, to eat bbq black pork.
DAY FIVE
Common Ground (커먼그라운드)
We took a morning flight to Seoul. It was about an hour flight from Jeju to Seoul. After checked-in and settled, we walked around our hotel, which locate in Dongdaemun, did some shopping. Then we took the subway to Common Ground, a shopping plus design place build with blue shipping containers. It is definitely a place for Instagram pictures...lots of young people stand around the blue containers to take their best shot. 
DAY SIX
Edelweiss Swiss Theme Park (에델바이스테마파크)
After a day in Seoul, we checked-out and rented a car to Gapyeong, a countryside area about 2 hours away from Seoul. We also stayed a night in there in a cute house...but only have one air-con in the living room. Anyway, first stop is Edelweiss, a 'Swiss' village with different art and exhibitions. It's not really big, and it was very hot that day, we quickly walked around and off to next destination.
The Garden of Morning Calm (아침고요수목원)
I didn't visit here last time when I went Gapyeong. It is a really beautiful garden filled with plants and flowers. I think spring or winter would be a better season to visit here, summer probably not the best time for flowers.
Petite France (쁘띠프랑스)
Before the sunset, we stopped by Petite France, which is pretty similar to Edelweiss. I went there 3 years ago, back then, My Love From The Star, was really popular. They shot one of the episode in here, and ever since Petite France has become really popular for tourists.
DAY SEVEN
Gapyeong Rail Bike (가평레일파크)
If you watched Runningman before, they visited a couple rail bike before. Finally I got the chance to try out! My mum picked this rail bike because it's less popular and shorter. We arrived earlier to make sure we got the spot, otherwise we might have to wait for an hour. Make sure you check their timetable before hand. It was tiring but really fun actually.
Namiseom Island (남이섬 종합휴양지)
I'm back to Nami Island! There're nothing really different, except the weather...it was really hot. We ended up walked around for 2 hours then hop back to the boat. Then we drove another 2 hours back to Seoul.
DAY EIGHT
Sadly, it's our last day in Seoul. Me and my mum went to Ewha Women University to shop, but sadly we don't have enough time to visit the Pink Hotel from Sytle Nanda in Myeongdong. Anyways, we end up spend more time shopping in Dongdaemun then took a shuttle bus to Incheon airport and head home.

This trip I definitely spend some best time with my fam, despite the heat, it was fun and lots of food! It was good to revisit some of the places and I hope to visit again, maybe in winter (no more sweat...) Some places I didn't take photo, but I included in my vlog. So make sure you check out my vlog:
